Binh Duong Coach Station is expected to have a twofold increase in the number of fixed coach trips and bus trips to meet passengers’ demand for traveling on the Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) holidays, according to coach station director Pham Van Son.
Also according to him, there are 2,200 passengers on fixed coach trips and 25,000 passengers on bus trips a day. It is expected that there is a twofold increase in the number of passengers during the holidays. The number of bus trips will increase by 120, especially for the routes to Suoi Tien tourist zone, Lac Canh Dai Nam Van Hien tourist complex, Mien Dong Coach Station.
So far, 5 out of 30 transport units have suggested to increase their ticket price by 30%-40% compared to normal days. This suggestion is being considered by provincial Department of Transport to ensure transport units’ profit and meet passengers’ demand for traveling during the holidays.
