In accordance with provincial People's Committee’s Plan No. 5742/KH-UBND dated October 14, 2024 on the organization of the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) (December 22, 1944 – December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 – December 22, 2024), the province’s Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (DoCST) will collaborate with relevant agencies to organize a series of meaningful celebratory activities.
Accordingly, provincial DoCST will organize the display of flags, banners, posters and slogans along streets leading to provincial Administrative Center. A cultural program, combined with a documentary film screening, will be held during the meeting on the morning of December 18, 2024, at provincial Conference and Exhibition Center. Additionally, provincial DoCST will coordinate with relevant units to organize an exhibition on military and national defense achievements, the building of the people's armed forces and the nationwide defense foundation. This exhibition will be set up in the lobby of provincial Conference and Exhibition Center before, during and after the anniversary celebration.
In parallel, all-levek units in the sector will jointly organize a variety of activities, including visual propaganda campaigns, exhibitions on books, newspapers and specialized magazines as well as cultural, artistic, and sports events…These activities aim at creating a series of events and initiatives to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day. The celebrations will be conducted in a solemn, practical, effective, safe and cost-efficient manner.
