After being selected as one of typical examples of studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples, Nun Thich Nu Tu Thao was recently selected to attend an exchange on the int’l women’s day held by the local women society. According to her, Buddhism spirit is to ward off evils, to make good deeds and to help difficult circumstances. Therefore, she makes greater efforts to involve in charity activities by good deeds such as setting up a center for orphan and lonely old people at Bo De Pagoda in Thuan An district.

Presently, the center is home to nearly 40 orphans. In the past Tet holiday, the center received much assistance from bodies and individuals.
The center has so far lacked building materials for building. Another difficult thing is that the center lacks manpower to care for rising orphans.
