The event was attended by Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Pham Van Chanh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
Tran Thanh Hai, CEO of Nutifood Company said that on this occasion, the company gave the province 80,000 Värna medical nutrition products from Sweden, with a total value of more than VND 2.6 billion in order to supplement energy and nutritients for frontline medical staff and Covid-19 patients being treated on the 2nd floor of the local field hospitals. With this support, the company wanted to join hands with the province to soon bring life back to the “new normal” state.
Previously, Nutifood gave the province a 16-seat vehicle, 10,000 quick test kits while supporting VND1 billion to the local Covid-19 vaccine fund. The company also subsidized 50% milk prices for Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province...
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Minh thanked Nutifood for its valuable contributions to the local Covid-19 disease prevention and control over the past time. He affirmed that if Covid-19 patients on the 2nd treatment floor receive good healthcare, this will help the province reduce the number of patients who have to be transferred to treatment on the 3rd floor, limiting the rate of severe Covid-19 patients and deaths. Therefore, the support of the company’s nutritional products is very important, contributing to supplementing nutrients and energy for medical staff, as well as supporting patients on the 2nd treatment floor to soon recover to be discharged back to their families.
He also wished all staff of Nutifood good health while wishing the company more successes in the coming time.
It is known that these 80,000 nutritious dairy products are distributed to 10 facilities of 2nd- floor Covid-19 treatment in the province. On the same day, provincial leaders and representatives of the company presented thousands of milk products to provincial Field Hospital No. 1 in Thu Dau Mot city’s Hoa Phu ward and Thuan An city’s Medical Center.
