Specifying role of intellectuals in the renovation, the provincial Committee for Education and Propaganda just held conference on grasping the 9th session’s Resolution and the Politburo’s Conclusion No.90-K/TW on “Building intellectuals in the period of national industrialization and modernization” for the provincial intellectuals and artists.
After many years of implementing policies of training, talent attraction and treatment, staff of intellectuals and artists ni Binh Duong province has developed strongly in quantity and quality. The Literature and Art Society, Association of Science and Technology Union, Journalists’ Society, Lawyers’ Society, Young Entrepreneurs’ Society, Students’ Society, Youth Union, Study Promotion and more are addresses for intellectuals and artists to meet, learn and show up their creation and initiative. Works of local intellectuals and artists dedicate to the local common development of economy, culture and society and more.
Until now, the entire province has 3 people’s physicians, 74 outstanding phycicians, 136 outstanding teachers and 2 excellent artists. Intellectuals also specify their role and position on all areas, promote patriotism, creation and dedication to Binh Duong homeland, meeting requirement of building and protecting the country in the industrialization and modernization process and international integration, contributing to excel instructions and policies of the Party and State.
With the provincial society of Literature and Art, many specialized clubs are established. They include fine art club, literature club, photography club, music club and more. Annually, members gain high prizes at the provincial and regional contests.
Meanwhile intellectual staff at universities, science and technology associations contribute greatly to valued topics and initiatives. Role of organizations and associations shows solidarity in composition activity, making up collective and individual products as well as supporting members to develop their specialization.
In order to help intellectuals and artists develop strongly and contribute more to the nation, the provincial party committee’s plan on implementing the Politburo’s Conclusion No.90-K/TW on “Building intellectual staff in the period of industrialization and modernization” set out detailed tasks and measures. Accordingly, Binh Duong will continue to launch the central Resolutions and the local plans on building intellectual staff. This plan also set out tasks for the provincial and grassroot levels to build a local strong intellectual staff.
In addition, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee as well as mass bodies and organizations sets out good ideas to build and supplement policies for the sake of gathering and promoting local artists and intellectuals’ role and position. Moreover, the local administration pays much attention to treatment policies for artists and intellectuals, scientists and outstanding students.
