Under the humanitarian television program named “Arms of Compassion”, Binh Duong Television Station (BTV), in collaboration with Nam Kim Steel Joint Stock Company (JVC), held a ceremony to donate a house of compassion to Le Van Vy, a lonely elderly person at Ben Cat hamlet, Phuoc Sang commune, Phu Giao district.
The 32sqm-house is about VND30mln, funded by Nam Kim Steel JVC. At the housing-awarding ceremony, representatives of Minh Long Porcelain I Co., Cuong Phat Co., Kim Long Animal Feed Co., Giua Pho Coffee Shop and Dat Thu Travel Co. also presented money and gifts to his family.
From November 2009 to 2010, Nam Kim Steel JVC is expected to subscribe VND1.25bln to BTV’s “Arms of Compassion” program. The program has so far built and presented 10 houses of compassion to needy families across the province.
