During the two academic years of 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, more than 185,000 young pioneers across the province made efforts in studying and getting involved in emulation movements and action programs, deserving to be Uncle Ho’s obedient children in the new era…
One of highlights done by
provincial Young Pioneer Organization over the past time was to promote emulation
movements on new technology development. Having a grasp of the development
trend of information technology and integration demands, the local teenagers
and children upheld their ability via subjects: informatics, foreign languages
and participated in competitions, namely “I love science”, “Young
creativeness”…

Through the campaigns of “Friends’ embrace”, “Helping friends go to school”…, 100% of young pioneer detachments in the province mobilized all social resources to support children with difficult circumstances, helping them rise up in life and study.
During the past two academic years, provincial Young Pioneer Organizations at all levels collected and gave more than 300 sets of old textbooks and 12,000 old books for libraries at schools, “Kim Dong” bookcases and pupils with difficult circumstances. These activities contributed to creating a motivation for needy pupils to further pursue their learning.
The movements of “Small Plan” also collected VND680mln. This fund was used to build 7 “red tie” houses for poor-but-excellent pupils across the province.
So far, the movements of provincial Young Pioneer Organization have been promoted across the province, especially in remote areas, creating useful playgrounds for the local children. The local Young Pioneer Organizations at all levels over time also organized collective entertainment activities, opened charity classes for street children and those with difficulties.
Under the “Voluntary pink tie” program, provincial Young Pioneer Organizations at all levels got involved in practical activities, including carrying out nearly 600 “For beloved children” works, organizing 17 charity classes, awarding gifts and scholarships to needy young pioneer members with a total expense of nearly VND2.6bln.
Nguyen Thi Kim Mai, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union cum Chairwoman of provincial Young Pioneer Organization said that in the 2013 and 2014 academic year, all 213 young pioneer organizations in the province implemented the“Flock of chickens of Red tie” program. Accordingly, each young pioneer detachment will support at least a flock of chickens worth VND600,000 for the program. All contributions will be sent to the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization to offer help to pupils in remote areas nationwide.
The local children also got involved in the movement of “Small Plan” to build 3 “red tie” houses and implement the “Hoa huong duong” (Sunflower) project at Huong Duong facility to take care of learners’ spiritual and material lives herein…
“In the coming time, provincial Young Pioneer Organization will further attach special importance to mobilizing all social resources to award scholarships and gifts to needy children; support children at charity classes, poor-but-excellent ones…”, said Ms.Mai.
