On Jan 18, at PPC, representatives of provincial Health Department, Department of Labor - Invalids - Social Affairs, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Finance, Labor Federation, and Inspectorate took part in the online conference summarizing social insurance, health insurance works in 2015 and assigning missions in 2016 hosted by Vietnam Social Insurance. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh, and Central ministries, departments attended the conference.

In 2015, despite of many difficulties and challenges, Vietnam Social Insurance performed well their works and fulfilled tasks. By the end of Dec 2015, total number of participants of social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance was 70.2 million, up 6.8% compared with 2014; total revenue reached over 216 trillion VND, completing 100.6% target; debts fell sharply, was 7,651 billion at year-end, representing 3.68% of total receivables. Subject management and policy solving were implemented properly, ensured well participant’s benefits. During the year, the whole sector granted social insurance benefits for more than 8 million people, collaborated to pay unemployment insurance benefits to more than 530 thousand people…
Disseminating missions in 2016, Vietnam Social Insurance will continue to focus on solving social insurance, health insurance policies for workers and people; better their professional management process in line with laws and practices; improve quality and efficiency in all activities, determine to complete successfully all targets and tasks.
Addressing at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh praised the achievements of Vietnam Social Insurance in 2015.
