Early April 21, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony for a series of activities celebrating the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 under the theme of “Reading Culture – Connecting Communities” at provincial Library.

After the opening ceremony, delegates and readers visited the book and newspaper exhibition area in the library’s lobby. Students also enjoyed fun, book-themed games with prizes such as “traditional shuttlecock throwing” and “melody of books”. In addition to playing games, each student received a gift from the program and had the opportunity to read books at the exhibition area.
On this occasion, provincial Library also recognized and awarded books to 10 dedicated and active readers. Prior to the opening ceremony, Youth Union members participated in a parade to promote the 2025 Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day along several main streets in Thu Dau Mot city.
