In 2012, there will be 12 points on sci-tech dissemination and internet access for rural youths across the province, which is implemented by provincial Youth Union under the project of the Youth Union Central Committee.
Provincial Youth Union cooperated with provincial Post
Office to put 5 such points into operation for rural youths in Tan Uyen
district’s Lac An, Khanh Binh communes, Phu Giao district’s Tan Long commune,
Ben Cat district’s Tan Hung commune and Dau Tieng district’s Thanh An commune
in January. The remaining 7 points will be also implemented this year.

The project aims to help people, especially youths in the remote region of the province know way to use computer and effectively access internet; bring information on sci-tech to the rural region in order to raise the people's intellectual standards, contributing to improving labor productivity, eradicating hunger, reducing poverty, promoting socio-economic development in the rural region…
Under the project, provincial Youth Union this year will team up with provincial Department of Science and Technology to build and open e-library on sci-tech, agro-forestry-fishery production; organize online vocational consultancy and job transaction for youths, especially put focus on the program “the week for young workers”…
Provincial Youth Union will also set up voluntary squads that are in charge of guiding people to access internet at the above points. Noticeably, these points are placed at communal cultural post offices, helping people easy get access to them
With good meanings, it is hoped that the province’s project of building points on sci-tech dissemination and internet access for rural youths will bring a new gust of wind to youth activities in the rural region…
