Early June 30, Thu Dau Mot University held the 2023 scientific conference of officials, lecturers and students. The conference attracted over 280 scientific reports.
This year, the organizing board selected 259 papers at the requirements for publication, including 174 by lecturers, 62 by learners and 23 by students. At the conference, leaders of the university listened to contributive ideas by cadres, lecturers and students about scientific research policies over the past time, discussed, proposed strategies and goals for the future to improve policies, contribute to improving the quality of scientific research activities so that the school will reach sustainable development.
At the conference, the school's management board noted that departments, faculties and lecturers need to strengthen the task of training methods and skills on scientific research for students. The scientific councils of the faculties need to develop students’ strategies on scientific research to 2025 and a specific year-by-year plan under the school’s strategic orientation. For lecturers, they need to orient and develop scientific research thinking for students right in each lecture. For students, they need to actively participate in conferences, scientific seminars, academic activities, science and technology innovation contests, scientific clubs...
The conference also commended and rewarded 23 officials, lecturers and students with outstanding achievements in scientific research activities in 2023.
