Tan Uyen town’s Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation has just held a conference to honor outstanding families, individuals in the voluntary blood donation campaign in 2016.
Over the past time, the local voluntary blood donation campaign continued receiving enthusiastic response from people from all strata. The local steering boards of voluntary blood donation at all levels actively disseminated and mobilized officials, civil servants, Youth Union members and locals to take part in the campaign; organized peak propaganda stages, creating a profound change in awareness of the significance of voluntary blood donation; mobilized individuals who have rare blood bloods to participate in reserve blood donation squads…Last year, there were 1,331 people registering to take part in the campaign with 1,134 units of blood given or 103% of the set target.
On this occasion, the town’s People’s Committee honored 230 outstanding families, individuals in voluntary blood donation and 41 outstanding families, individuals in voluntary blood donation mobilization and propaganda in 2016.
