On the afternoon of April 24, the Party Committee of provincial People's Committee held a conference to review Party-building efforts in the first quarter and implement tasks for the second quarter of 2025. The conference was chaired by Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of provincial People’s Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.
In the first quarter, the Party Committee of provincial People’s Committee closely followed the directives of provincial Standing Party Committee, focusing on developing programs and plans for Party-building and political tasks; organized two online conferences to disseminate new documents from the Government and the province regarding the restructuring of the political system; launched the model of “Excellent Party Member – Effective Initiative”; held a political theory training course for 152 new Party members and led provincial People's Committee in directing departments, sectors and localities to implement 2025 socio-economic development targets, aiming for double-digit economic growth.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Minh emphasized the need for the Party Committee of provincial Party Committee to continue effective leadership and direction in the second quarter, in accordance with guidance from the Government and provincial Party Committee. Key priorities include implementing socio-economic development plans, achieving double-digit economic growth, completing State budget targets, accelerating public investment, advancing science and technology and promoting national digital transformation in 2025. The entire Party Committee is urged to continue fostering strong unity, dynamism, innovation and creativity; improve the quality of officials, civil servants and public employees; encourage cadres daring thinking and daring acting for common benefits. At the conference, the Party Committee of provincial People’s Committee announced and presented provincial Party Committee’s decision to appoint Bui Minh Tri, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee to the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of provincial People's Committee for the 2020–2025 term. Provincial Standing Party Committee also awarded 30 and 40-year Party membership badges to 12 Party members, honored 5 Party cells and 79 Party members for outstanding performance over five consecutive years from 2020 to 2025.
