Provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET), on September 17, held a ceremony to honor good pupils in the 2013-2014 academic year. Attending the event were Nguyen Minh Giao, Head of provincial Committee for Propaganda and Education; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.
In the 2013-2014 academic year, 129 collectives and 130 individuals were awarded the certificates of merit. There were also 1,353 pupils honored by provincial DoET. In the last academic year, provincial DoET instructed province-based schools to boost a task of training and sorting out good pupils at all levels.

Province-based high schools also organized preparatory classes for the 2013-2014 university entrance exam season. As a result, there were a total of 3,486 pupils passing this year’s university entrance exam. Noticeably, there were 442 pupils passing the entrance exams at two universities and 129 classes with a high rate of pupils passing this year’s entrance university exam.
