Early December 29, provincial Department of Education and Training organized a ceremony to honor teachers and students with high achievements in the 2020-2021 school year.
The event was attended by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People's Council.
At the event, 18 students winning prizes at the national contest for excellent students and the national science and technology contest were awarded the certificates of merit of the Ministry of Education and Training. There were 43 teachers who fostered excellent students and 225 students with the certificates of merit of provincial Department of Education and Training for their high achievements in the 2020-2021 school year. In the last school year, provincial Department of Education and Training held exams for excellent students from second to high schools to select the best ones for provincial and national competitions. At the national competition for excellent students, students from the province won 32 prizes, including 7 second prizes, 9 third prizes, and 16 consolation prizes. The local student also won 1 fourth prize at the national competition for excellent students in science and technology. At provincial exams for good students, there were 271 secondary-school students and 322 high-school ones winning prizes…
There were 99.95% of students passing the 2020-2021 high school graduation exam. The rate of students admitted to universities and colleges was 88.89%. At the event, provincial Department of Education and Training also awarded prizes to teachers winning provincial competition on "Designing E-Learning Lessons" in the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year. The contest aimed at promoting the movement of IT application in teaching innovation in a creative and modern way, enhancing activeness and self-learning, contributing to the fundamental and comprehensive innovation of the local education and training cause; developing a set of quality E-Learning materials to use as a common resource for the whole sector. As a result, the organizers awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes (at each level) and 45 consolation prizes to outstanding entries at the contest.
