Early April 15, the Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP)’s Trade Union held a conference to commend collectives and individuals recognized for being “Outstanding and creative workers” during the 2020–2025 period at provincial Labor Cultural Center in Thuan An city’s An Phu ward. The ceremony honored 25 collectives and 151 workers for their numerous innovations in production that have brought significant benefits to their companies over the past five years.
According to Nguyen Van Duc, Chairman of the VSIP’s Trade Union, during the 2020–2025 period, the emulation movement of "Outstanding and Creative Workers" has been actively implemented across all grassroots trade unions and has received strong participation from numerous laborers. The movement has positively contributed to businesses’ operations with benefits. It has also absorbed the participation of more than 85% of workers from grassroots trade unions, many of whom have promoted the spirit of creativity, daring thinking, daring doing, with solidarity and competition.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Tan Dat, Vice Chairman of provincial Labor Union praised collectives and individuals who were recognized for their excellence and creativity by the VSIP’s Trade Union. He expressed hope that grassroots trade unions and workers under the VSIP’s Trade Union would further develop technical initiatives that bring benefits to businesses, thereby enhancing incomes and improving living standards for the workforce.
