Over 100 children participate in "People's Council delegates with spring for disadvantaged children" program

On January 20, with the support of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, provincial Children's Fund, People's Council Standing Committee coordinated with Thu Dau Mot city’s People's Council Standing Committee and provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to organize a program on "People's Council delegates with spring for disadvantaged children" at the hall of the city’s People's Committee.

The program was attended by Truong My Hoa, former State Vice-President, Chairwoman of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Dong, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot city’s Party Committee and leaders of provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee,  departments and sectors in the province.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Loc sent Tet greetings to children and delegates attending the program while thanking the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund for caring and supporting the local children on this occasion. He said that provincial People's Council acknowledged children’s thoughts and aspirations for better care in the future...

On this occasion, with the support of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, the Organization Board of the program awarded 100 gifts worth VND 1 million to children with difficult circumstances and 20 scholarships worth VND 5 million for poor-but-excellent students in the province. The Standing Committee of Thu Dau Mot City People's Council also awarded 100 scholarships worth VND 1 million each and Tet gifts to children with difficult circumstances and orphans, due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
