*Work starts on Lai Thieu primary school
On the 35th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification, the province presented 112 gifts worth VND1mln each to policy beneficiaries in Thuan An district, said Nguyen Thi Kim Thu, head of the district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. The district also donated additional 32 gifts worth VND500,000 each to needy officials and soldiers who made contributions to the national unification.
*Thuan An district’s Project Management Board broke ground for the Lai Thieu primary school with a total investment capital of more than VND27bln. Covering over 3,700sq.m, the school includes one ground-floor and three storeys with many items designed modernly. Dung Tam Construction Co.Ltd. is the construction unit of the work. The work is expected to be fulfilled after 360 days of construction.

BCCE takes fruits in production, trading
Early April 29, Binh Duong Construction and Civil Engineering Joint Stock Co. (BCCE) held the 2010 annual shareholder’s meeting to review its production and trading activities in 2009 and approve development plan for 2010.
Despite difficulties last year, the total revenue, pre-tax profit and after-tax profit of the company reached over VND273bln, over VND41.9bln and VND34.6bln, beyond 14.9%, 60.1% and 76.4% of the projection, respectively. The meeting also approved the company’s development plan for 2010 with the targets of reaching VND470bln of total revenue, VND46.6bln of pre-tax profit and nearly VND35bln of after-tax profit.
Established in 2002, BBCE has so far lifted its chaptered capital up VND200bln. It is working out lots of key projects in the province, including those of Becamex Tower, Becamex Sunrise, Mien Dong International University, Mien Dong International Hospital…
