*Training course on food safety and hygiene for women kicked off
To mark the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union, Di An district’s Women’s Union, on Oct.5, donated more than 100 gifts worth VND200,000 each to the local women with extremely difficult circumstances (photo). These gifts were sponsored by Binh Duong Building Materials and Construction Co., Di An-based Vinatex supermarket, Di An township’s Credit Fund and 13 donors.
On this occasion, Di An district’s Women’s Union also expressed thanks to organizations and individuals who made contributions to activities taking care of the lives of the local women over the past time.
*Ben Cat district’s Women’s Union, in collaboration with provincial Department of Food Safety and Hygiene, organized a training course on food safety and hygiene for its 120 officials.
At the training courses, these officials were taught about the Ministry of Health’s decisions on issuance of the regulations granting certificates of food safety and hygiene; requirements about knowledge and hygienic conditions for food trading and processing facilities…They were also equipped with knowledge regarding conditions to ensure food safety and hygiene at mass kitchens.
