Under the chair of the provincial People’s Committee, Becamex IDC held a tree planting ceremony at Binh Duong New City on May 19 with the participation of over 1,000 unionists and youths from Becamex IDC, local youth union, local youth union for corporation bloc and departments and agencies and mass bodies.
As of the end of 2011, local youths planted nearly 900,000 green trees across industrial parks and urban areas invested by Becamex IDC.

Implementing a tree planting plan in 2012, Becamex IDC will plant about 2,624,000 trees across areas including Binh Duong New City center, My Phuoc, Thoi Hoa, Bau Bang IPs in Ben Cat district.
At the ceremony, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Tran Van Nam said that the movement of planting trees and forests has been developed strongly. Accordingly, Becamex IDC is one of units leading in building IPs, urban areas. Also at the ceremony, he applauded organizations, agencies, units, households and individuals in general and Becamex IDC in particular for their achievements of planting green trees and building local green-clean-beautiful environment. In addition, he asked the company to protect grown-green trees.
Also the same day, Hiep An ward People’s Committee in Thu Dau Mot town held a tree planting ceremony to salute the anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s 122nd birthday at Tuong Binh Hiep secondary school.
After the ceremony, agencies and mass bodies, students and people planted 150 green trees along Bui Ngoc Thu and DX095 roads.
