On September 9, Binh Duong Mineral and Construction Joint Stock Company in collaboration with Investment Newspaper awarded 208 scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils in Di An town’s Tan Dong Hiep ward, in attendance of Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

Each pupil was given a scholarship worth VND1million plus leaning tools. Among the recipients, there were 20 offered bicycles. It is known that the scholarship program has a total value of VND250million.
Prior to that, the company donated 400 scholarships worth VND440million to pupils in North Tan Uyen and Phu Giao districts. The company also supported VND17.5million for provincial Child Support Fund.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr.Hung acknowledged the company’s noble deed while hoping that the business community will continue supporting pupils with difficult circumstances, helping them keep their mind on study.
*Early September 10, provincial Red Cross Society in collaboration with provincial Department of Education and Training, Taiwan’s Tzu-Chi charity society awarded 660 scholarships worth nearly VND1.2billion to poor-but-excellent pupils and students in Di An, Thuan An towns and North Tan Uyen district.
On this occasion, provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the Trade Union of the banking sector of the emulation group 8 to hand over a house of compassion worth VND60million to the family of Phan Van Hoa in An Son commune’s An My hamlet in Thuan An town.
