At the pagoda in 2012, after obtaining permission of local authority, Physician Binh and his spouse – Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Hoang, opened a clinic offering free health treatment services to everyone.Patients getting there are offered acupuncture and free medicines.“I am suffering from elderly pains. I have been treated by various methods but the pains have not ease. I have been to the clinic for 2 months and I am feeling better,” said Mrs. Le Thi Bo, 84 years old, residing at Dong An Quarter, Binh Hoa Ward, Thuan An Town.Binh’s first experience with oriental medicine was at his nineth year old, prompting him to engage to treatments offering since his sixteens.The couple has been through years traveling from Phu Yen to Binh Duong Province, offering free oriental medicine treatment to locals. They have been devoted to helping others to overcome illness.Ever since the clinic was established at Thien Phuoc Pagoda, Binh has devoted his days to acupuncture his patients for free.“Aside from Tet, I am ready for all other days to offer free service to as many people as possible,” said Binh.In 40 years of staying with the career, Binh has been praised for his cause to the career.Binh has been saving his nights for researches and learning of new and effective acupunture methods.”Binh is worthy of a model in learning and following President Ho Chi Minh moral examples as he offers free medical services to not only locals but also those who in need of treatment,” asserted Mr. Huynh Ngoc Hung as Chair of Lai Thieu Ward’s Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee in Thuan An Town.Reported by Lan Huong – Translated by Vi Bao
