Early May 20, provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET) forwarded a conference paying tribute to outstanding teachers during the past 40 years.

During the past 40 years, the province’s sector of education and training gained much progress. The sector actively promoted the emulation movement of “good teaching, good learning”, the campaign of “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” and many other great campaigns. As result, the local quality of education was improved gradually. This came from the integral efforts by the sector’s managerial and teaching staff, especially from contributions by former teachers.
Speaking at the conference, Mr.Liem wanted that former teachers would be always bright examples for young people to follow, contributing to building up qualified human resources at the local development requirements.
On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 65 individuals. Provincial DoET also awarded the gold, silver and bronze symbols to 485 teachers who made active contributions to the local cause of education during the past 40 years.
