In 2015, TDM city’s Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) coordinated with provincial Job Placement Center to make propaganda work on job transaction sessions among laborers; teamed up with sectors and enterprises in the city to introduce jobs to more than 6,000 laborers or 100.5% of the yearly target.
The city’s DoLISA also opened vocational-oriented classes for rural laborers. There were 70 learners taking classes on cooking and service for parties. After graduation, they found stable jobs at cooking facilities or opened eateries by themselves in order to stabilize their lives.
