Over 85% of rental support for workers disbursed

On September 22, Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to check the disbursement progress of rental support for workers according to Decision No. 08/2022/ Decision-TTg of the Prime Minister.

According to report of Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, as of 21st September 2022, district-level People's Committee received applications for rent support from 12,817 enterprises with 1,511,783 workers, corresponding to a proposed funds of more than VND1,019 billion; approved lists and funds of rental support for 12,422 businesses, 1,407,377 turns of workers, with VND963 billion 363 million (equivalent to 94% of the proposed amount). Disbursement was carried out for 10,464 enterprises and 1,257,834 workers with an amount of VND823 billion 548 million (disbursement rate reached more than 85%).

Up to now, 7/9 localities have completed disbursement, including Thu Dau Mot City, Ben Cat Town, Tan Uyen Town, Dau Tieng District, Phu Giao District, North Tan Uyen District, and Bau Bang District. As for the remaining two localities, Thuan An City and Di An City, so far, the disbursement of support money has not been completed, namely Di An City has disbursed 95% and Thuan An City has reached only 46%.

Vo Van Minh asked Thuan An City and Di An City to focus on mobilizing resources, coordinating with Department of Finance and related units to quickly complete the disbursement of the remaining approved documents. The remaining localities need to check and adjust information to quickly complete the payment procedures for workers, the completion time is before September 30, 2022. The Chairman of Provincial People's Committee also agreed with the proposal of Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on assigning officials under the department, increasing overtime hour to appraise dossiers, grant permits to foreign workers...
