On August 18, provincial Women's Union in collaboration with provincial Post Office, the Women’s Unions of provincial Police Agency and Military Command organized a delegation to visit and offer gifts to armed forces, medical staff who are directly treating Covid-19 patients at units, namely provincial Department of Health, Tan Uyen town’s Medical Center, Di An city’s Medical Center, Thuan An city’s Medical Center, Thu Dau Mot city’s Medical Center, the 5D Infectious Field Hospital of the Ministry of National Defense at the dormitory of Ho Chi Minh City’s National University in Di An city’s Dong Hoa ward.
Representatives of units offer gifts to Thuan An city’s Medical Center
These gifts were funded by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Women's Unions of the province, cities, and organizations, individuals and businesses in the province. They include medical beds, medical protective suits, medical gloves, anti-droplet face shields, medical masks, instant noodles, rice, mineral water and cash with a total value of more than VND 1.3 billion.
On this occasion, provincial Women's Union donated VND 5 million to the family of Duong Nguyen Thuy Trinh, an employee of provincial General Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics who has just died, due to Covid-19.
