Early February 27, provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with provincial departments, agencies, organizations and donors, organized a "zero-dong market" program to support disadvantaged people. Additionally, financial assistance was provided for the construction of Red Cross houses in response to the emulation movement of "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" for the Red Cross Societies of nine districts and cities in the province. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Nguyen Loc Ha, Pernament Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Council and Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Accordingly, 500 workers, freelance laborers, disadvantaged individuals and visually impaired people from nine districts and cities received vouchers to shop at the "Zero-dong market”. Each participant was given VND 500,000 in cash along with various essential goods, with a total value of over VND 1 million per voucher. In response to the emulation movement of "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the province, provincial Red Cross Society also provided financial support for the construction of 15 “Red Cross” houses for Red Cross Societies in nine districts and cities, with a total value of VND 1.2 billion.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Loc Ha, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee emphasized that the "Zero-dong market" was a deeply humanitarian initiative that embodied the spirit of solidarity and mutual support within the community for those in difficult circumstances. He also highly appreciated provincial Red Cross Society's efforts in providing financial assistance to localities for building “Red Cross” houses, contributing to improving the living conditions of disadvantaged individuals in need of housing. He called on all officials, civil servants, public employees, workers, businesses and individuals to uphold the patriotic tradition and continue mobilizing resources to support provincial Red Cross Society in successfully implementing the emulation movement of "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" across the province.
