Early July 21, Binh Duong Provincial Association of Women held its 12th extended executive conference to evaluate operations in the first 6 months of 2015 and sum up 5 years of family building from 2010 to 2015.
In 6 months, the movements and patriotism emulation initiated by Association of Women have attracted majority of the women, contributing to the success of local social, cultural and economic development while maintaining security and order in the locality. Accordingly, the association has opened 9 profession training cources for 829 officers, disseminated legal information to nearly 2,000 officers, members and 52 drives to workers living in hostels. Banking credit loans have been disbursed at nearly VND 60 billion helping 3,623 households with loans for businesses. Members have been called upon to save up over VND 2.5 billion for 1,117 women living in poverty to make loans, 172 poor-but-studious students, 7 orphans, 2 disable children while coordinating with kind-hearted people to issue scholarships, gifts, notebooks, and garments to poor-but-studious students at total cost of over VND 203 million.
The conference has implemented duties for the last 6 months of the year and summed up 5 years of the movement of family building from 2010 to 2015 helping 10 collectives and 15 individuals to receive merit certificates from Binh Duong Provincial Association of Women for the brilliant achievements in the last 5 years.
