In recent years, the implementation of student health insurance in the province has had many positive results. In the 2022-2023 school year, the whole province had 421,228 out of 423,549 students participate in health insurance, reaching a rate of 99.45% - an increase of 0.85% compared to the 2021-2022 school year.
Pham Thi Huong Tuyen, Deputy Director of the provincial Social Insurance, said that in the 2023-2024 school year, in order to achieve the target of 100% of students participating in health insurance, the Department of Education and Training will coordinate with Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the provincial Social Insurance in close cooperation with relevant agencies, units and localities to actively propagate the role and benefits of health insurance policy and responsibility for participating in health insurance of students so that they would proactively and actively participate.
