Implementing the project of “Children-centered preschool education” of Department of Education and Training, preschool education facilities have actively reviewed, planned, and arranged education environment within and outside groups and classrooms with supplementation of toys and IT-applied equipment as well as the expansion of areas for children to play and experience reality.
In 2016-2020, Provincial Department of Education and Training has invested to purchase 1,388 indoor and 120 outdoor mobility toys, helping children to get used to English and information searching skills for children at public preschools in the province. By the end of 2019-2020, 97.85% of groups and classes in preschools have been fully equipped with tools and toys. The ratio of preschools having playgrounds of 5 types of toys and more stand at 86.81%.
Total investments to preschool facilities of the province in the past 5 years has been over VND 512 billion, of which VND 416 billion was financed by the State’s budget and over VND 96 billion from socialized resources.
