Over VND 88 billion recovered from insurance premium debts

On August 3, Binh Duonng provincial Social Insurance held a conference on the regulation of coordination between the Police of Binh Duong province and the social insurance agency of Binh Duong province in performing the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, and combating against crime in the field of social, unemployment, and health insurance.

After more than 1 year of implementing the Coordination Regulation No. 03/QCPH-CAT-BHXH (from June 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023), the provincial social insurance agency has provided debt information from 4,297 debtors of social insurance, unemployment insurance and health insurance with debts from 4,297 units of total debt of VND 530.3 billion to the Police agency before the 10th of every month so that the two sides can coordinate to prevent and minimize the prolonged debt situation. Social insurance units coordinated with Police at all levels to summon 565 units to the social insurance agency to urge and remind debt recovery with a total recovered debt of VND 88.2 billion out of the total debts of VND 183.5 billion, stating the recovery rate of 48.09% against 389 units.

In addition, the two units also performed a good range of coordination tasks to ensure internal political security, cyber security and state confidentials.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Pham Quoc Dung, Deputy Director of the provincial Police asked the inferiors at all levels in the province to continue to closely coordinate to strictly implement the cooperation regulations signed with the provincial social insurance agency, to coordinate in summoning units and enterprises to pay deferments of social and health insurance premiums to the Police headquarters for settlement, to strengthen coordination in examining documents in order to promptly detect acts of taking advantage of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance; along with that, to strictly handle those who commit acts of falsifying papers to take advantage of social, health and unemployment insurance.

Colonel Pham Quoc Dung said the provincial police wanted to continue to receive timely coordination from the social insurance to prevent crimes in the field of social, health and unemployment insurance in a timely manner to protect the interests of employees.
