The branches of the district’s Red Cross Society at district-based schools organized many practical activities in the 2014-2015 academic year. At the conference, the district’s Red Cross Society awarded 30 scholarships worth VND15mln funded by its Volunteers’ Club to pupils with difficult circumstances. The society also held a festive day to open piggybanks and collected more than VND36mln which will be used to support pupils with difficult circumstances in the 2015-2016 academic year.
