After five-year implementation of the campaign “Each organization, individual should stick to a humanitarian address”, Di An town’s Red Cross Society reached considerable results, contributing to taking care of the poor, the disabled and victims of Agent Orange.
Many significant models such as those of providing charity meals, granting health insurance cards, building Red Cross houses…were implemented by the local Red Cross Society and its affiliates, helping more than 13,500 people with total expense of more than VND4.5bln.
According to Tu Anh Tuan, Chairman of Di An town’s Red Cross Society, upholding achievements done over the past five years, the society will speed up dissemination of information about the significance of the campaign “Each organization, individual should stick to a humanitarian address” while promoting the campaign among people from all strata in the coming time.
