Late May 27, nearly
300 staff and Youth Union members of Binh Duong Water Supply-Drainage and
Environment Co.Ltd. (Biwase) attended a meeting on current affairs relating to China’s illegal installation of its drilling rig
HD-981 on Vietnam’s
continental shelf. Participating Youth Union members also raised their singing
to express love for national sea and islands as well as their solidarity in
defending national sovereignty over sea and islands.

On this occasion, Biwase together with Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank), Chanh Phu Hoa Investment and Construction Co., Dai Phu Thinh Co.Ltd., Quynh Phuc Co., Loc Thinh Co., Binh Minh Plastics Joint Stock Co., Construction No.5 Co. and Tan Thanh Co.Ltd. donated more than VND500mln to the Vietnamese Marine Police, Fisheries Surveillance forces and fishermen.
On behalf of the Vietnamese Marine Police and Fisheries Surveillance forces, Huynh Van Nhi, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee thanked the above enterprises for their support to fishermen, marine police and fisheries surveillance forces. Their donation would be a great encouragement for fishermen, marine police and fisheries surveillance forces in safeguarding the nation's sovereignty over its territorial waters.
