Union held a get-together to mark the 103rd anniversary of
International Women’s Day (March 8, 1910-March 3, 2013) and the 1973rd
anniversary of Trung sisters’ Uprising.

Women in TDM city over time upheld the tradition of “flexibility, creation, generosity and responsibility” and tried their best to study, work and take part in emulation movements of the Women’s Union. In 2012, the city’s Women’s Union built 1 houses of compassion with a total expense of more than VND600mln; provided thousands of members with loans from the “Saving Day for the Poor” campaign and Cidse program…for economic development.
On this occasion, TDM city’s Women’s Union launched an emulation movement to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s call for patriotic emulation (June 11th, 1948-June 11th, 2013) with the theme of “Following Uncle Ho’s teachings, practicing thrift for sustainable poverty reduction” while mobilizing more than VND840mln from the “Saving Day for the Poor” campaign.
