Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), as of April 14, received more than VND6billion and commodities worth nearly VND3.2billion from organizations and individuals for Covid-19 prevention and control.
Accordingly, more than VND6billion was transferred to provincial Relief Fund. Provincial FFC also handed over 122,000 medical masks, 22,000 cloth masks, 32,000 medical gloves, 21,500 protective suits, 100 electronic thermobarometers, 1,000 litters of disinfectant, 4,800 soap bars, 15 tons of rice, 275 boxes of instant noodle, 500 boxes of milk, 10,000 chicken eggs, 50 fans and other necessities.
Provincial FFC also extracted more than VND2billion from provincial Relief Fund to buy medical equipment against Covid-19 pandemic, including 250,000 medical masks, 4,000 N95 masks, 2,000 bottles of medical alcohol, 4,000 soap bottles and 200 electronic thermobarometers under the suggestion of provincial Department of Health.
*On the afternoon of the same day, Nguyen Vo Duy Khuong, Deputy Director of Vietcombank’s Binh Duong branch offered VND120million to provincial FFC for Covid-19 prevention and control. The fund was raised by the branch’s staff, aiming to join hands with the community in the Covid-19 fight.
