Bui Duy Hien, Secretary of Ben Cat town’s Party Committee, Head of the town’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said: "For the local residents who have completed isolation, medical treatment or F0 cases brought to home for isolation, the town's Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has directed the local military force to be responsible for receiving them in concentrated isolation areas and bringing them to the health stations of communes and wards where they live. As for cases outside of the town, the town’s military force will take them to the medical centers of districts and towns for management and support. In addition, the town’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has mobilized some units to arrange temporary accommodations for those in need of housing after completing isolation and medical treatment”.
According to Mr. Hien, the owners of some lodging facilities were afraid of accepting lodgers returning after completing isolation and treatment for Covid-19 in the past. The town has also made propaganda so that people and owners of the local lodging facilities to understand that those who have completed isolation and been discharged from hospitals after Covid-19 treatment are safe and no longer infection risk. Through propaganda work, the majority of people understood and let these lodgers return to their rooms and stabilize their lives. So far, the town has not received any feedback on the situation that people have no place to live and have to wander after completing isolation and treatment for Covid-19.
