People participating in voluntary social insurance are entitled to salary as prescribed; one-time benefits and survivors' benefits; social insurance agencies are granted health insurance cards when they retire and enjoy the same medical examination and treatment benefits as participants of compulsory social insurance. In particular, this type of insurance has many advantages in reducing financial difficulties and the risk of aging, not relying entirely on the children and grandchildren, helping to ensure a stable income for the elderly and stabilizing life.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Dang Minh Hung asked the provincial social insurance and related units to actively deploy breakthrough solutions, creating the most favorable procedures and documents for the people to actively participate in voluntary social insurance. The provincial social insurance agency continues to promote the propagation and expansion of the system of social insurance and health insurance collection agents; Collection agent employees must keep abreast of the "Go every lane, knocking on each house" section, dedicatedly instructing and advising to raise people's awareness about their benefits when participating in voluntary social insurance.
