Party Committee of My Phuoc Ward (Ben Cat City) urgently prepares for the provincial congress

In addition to striving to achieve the goals and tasks outlined in the Resolution of the Ward Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, the My Phuoc Ward Party Committee has actively led and directed the preparations for organizing the Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. The My Phuoc Ward Party Congress was selected by the Provincial Party Standing Committee to convene a key congress at the grassroots level to gain experience in directing the organization of congresses throughout the provincial Party Committee.

Launch an emulation peak to welcome the congress

In a statement to reporters regarding the organization of activities to welcome the Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, Mr. Nguyen Trong Quoc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of My Phuoc Ward, emphasized that the congress is a significant political event for both the Party Committee and the community. To this end, the Ward Party Committee has recently initiated efforts to enhance information and propaganda activities.

In particular, the congress propaganda team has developed a dynamic visual campaign that includes propaganda trucks and integrates messages into cultural, artistic, and sports events. The primary goal of these promotional activities is to encourage officials, party members, and citizens to participate in emulation movements in anticipation of the Ward Party Congress. Additionally, these efforts aim to highlight the leadership role of the Party Committee in advancing socio-economic development and to reinforce the determination to build a prosperous and civilized Ben Cat City.

With the support of all levels and sectors, the solidarity and efforts of the Party Committee, government, people, and business community in the area, My Phuoc ward has gained remarkable development in many fields; the local urban area is increasingly modern and civilized.

The Ward Party Committee is actively promoting propaganda activities while also accelerating the progress of various projects and tasks in preparation for the upcoming congress. As part of this initiative, My Phuoc Ward will implement nine projects aimed at benefiting the community. This includes two projects funded by public investment: upgrading one traffic route and installing a lighting system on another.

Additionally, the ward focused on renovating mini-parks and enhancing urban aesthetics at key intersections and along main roads through socialized projects. Neighborhoods will also prioritize restoring urban order before, during, and after the congress, viewing this as a competitive effort during the peak emulation period set by the ward.

Moreover, ward officials and civil servants have pledged to donate a portion of their salaries to support the tasks related to the congress. Following the congress, the ward will conduct a review to assess the effectiveness of the peak emulation period and will recognize units that demonstrate outstanding achievements with awards.

By October 29, 2/25 Party cells under the My Phuoc Ward Party Committee had successfully organized Party cell congresses for the 2025-2027 term (Party cell of Ward 1 and Party cell of Le Quy Don Junior High School). These are the two Party cells selected by the Ward Party Committee to organize key congresses. It is expected that in the first half of November 2024, the neighborhood party cells will complete the organization of the party cell congress in time to prepare for the election of the neighborhood chief...

Ensure good facilities for the congress

Mr. Nguyen Trong Quoc discussed the preparations for the congress, stating that being selected as the provincial key congress is both an honor and a significant responsibility. This is especially challenging given that the ward Party Committee lacks experience in organizing large-scale congresses. However, with the guidance and direction of the Standing Committee, the City Party Committee, and other related city units, the Standing Committee and the Ward Party Committee have engaged in extensive discussions and planning to ensure that the congress is well-organized and successful.

The Congress of the My Phuoc Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term is scheduled to take place in the first half of January 2025 at the Ben Cat City Convention and Exhibition Center. In preparation for the event, the ward plans to invite guests and decorate the venue. Additionally, there will be an exhibition featuring OCOP products from the city and industrial products from various units and enterprises within the local industrial parks. The Congress Organizing Committee has also announced a policy to prohibit the acceptance of flowers; instead, these will be converted into monetary donations to support welfare projects aimed at benefiting the community after the congress.

Mr. Bui Minh Thanh (standing), Secretary of Ben Cat City Party Committee, checks the preparations for the My Phuoc Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Regarding the application of information technology before, during the congress, the Ward Party Committee directed the implementation of electronic invitations for all city-level and ward-level delegates. Provincial delegates and revolutionary elders only use paper invitations. My Phuoc Ward also proposed to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to conduct electronic vote counting and at the same time, asked for the province's permission to allow online transmission to endpoints at districts and cities in the province.

The Congress of the My Phuoc Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term is expected to have around 400 delegates in attendance, including 170 summoned delegates from the ward. To ensure security and safety before, during, and after the congress, the Ward Party Committee has directed the relevant units to develop a coordinated joint plan that effectively implements measures to maintain security and order in the area. In addition to the on-duty presence of the relevant units, neighborhoods and quarters in the ward will also contribute by providing personnel to help uphold security and order.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Quoc provided an update on the personnel work of the new term Party Committee. He mentioned that the Ward Party Committee has developed a personnel plan that aligns with regulations and considers the local situation. Notably, the expected composition of the new term Party Committee will prioritize young and dynamic leaders, along with individuals who manage key sectors and organizations within the ward. Overall, the Party Committee remains stable, with plans to add a few enthusiastic and dedicated young members who are proficient in information technology.
