In May, besides Uncle's birthday event, tree planting festival, there is the Humanitarian Month, Workers' Month... Many workers are affected by the epidemic amid its complicated developments. This year's Workers' Month is organized flexibly and creatively with many programs towards employees, attracting the entire political system, enterprises and community to take care of workers and above all are to promote the Vietnamese working class’s spirit of creativity and adaption to challenges posed, adding motivation for workers to continue contributing to the development of the country.
With the theme of "Vietnamese workers: Pioneering, innovative, responsible, safe, adaptive" and ongoing activities, the Workers’ Month 2022 has been arousing creativity and responsibility of the Vietnamese working class. "75,000 initiatives to overcome difficulties and develop" is one of the programs concretized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor from a central and urgent political task in the context of the whole country's people in the fight against the pandemic and socio-economic development. The program has contributed to promoting the creativity of employees in order to improve productivity, product quality, production and business efficiency, significantly contributing to the development of agencies, enterprises, socio-economic development of the country, contributing to the realization of the "dual goals" of the Government.
To pay tribute to employees, many programs held during this year's Workers' Month have expressed gratitude to the working class. Although being organized for the first time, the "Listening - Understanding - Sharing" program has brought about great success. The program was a great forum for trade unionists and employees in enterprises to express their thoughts, aspirations, pressing issues, touching stories in labor and workers' lives. From this forum, the trade union will select urgent, high-impact, wide-ranging issues that affect a large number of trade unionists and employees in order to take appropriate, effective measures and opportunely propagandize implementation results so that trade unionists and employees can more obviously understand the roles and tasks of trade union organizations.
This year's Workers' Month is held nationwide, taking place in the context that the whole country is trying to adapt safely and flexibly, effectively control the Covid-19 epidemic, expeditiously recover socio-economic development. Along with the whole country, the province’s political system, trade union and enterprises have responded to the Workers' Month 2022 with many practical programs and activities in association with taking care of the material and spiritual lives of workers. In order not to let any worker be left behind, thousands of gifts were given, and a series of "zero dong” market-day were opened as a tribute to employees. Unfortunate workers hit by labor accidents or illness were supported by provincial Support Fund for Difficult Workers. Along with authorities at all levels, many enterprises were also towards employees by taking specific actions such as increasing wages, travel and housing allowances, giving material support so that workers who are in difficulty, due to the epidemic can keep their mind on work and have long-term attachment to enterprises.
