From August 17 to 19, provincial Department of Education and Training has coordinated with provincial Department of Health to organize a peak campaign of vaccination against Covid-19 for children, students, officials, teachers and laborers at educational institutions in the province.
Specifically, relevant units organized Covid-19 injections at high schools, secondary schools, continuing education centers on August 17. Injections were also given for students at primary schools on August 18. And they will be implemented at preschools on August 19. Subjects who are leaders, teachers, employees, and workers at educational institutions and schools must receive the second booster shot (fourth dose) or the first booster shot (third dose), except in cases of contraindications at the request of doctors or competent medical authorities. For students aged at 12-17 from grades 6 to 12 in classes for the 2022-2023 school year at high and secondary schools, continuing education centers must get the first booster shot (third dose) or complete 2 basic doses, except cases with contraindication at the request of doctors or competent health agencies.
For children aged at 5-6 at preschools, students aged at 6-11 at primary schools for the 2022-2023 school year will receive 2 basic doses, except cases with contraindication at the request of doctors or competent health agencies.
It is known that only students with a written agreement from parents or guardians will be vaccinated.
