After 41 years of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975-April 30, 2016), Binh Duong (previously being Song Be) surmounted post-war consequences, joining hands in the cause of national development and construction. Especially, since being reestablished, thanks to the local Party, government and people, Binh Duong has become one of the country’s flexibly growing localities.

Binh Duong has focused on building concentrated industrial parks (Ips) which are seen as a lever to promote the local development. As of late 2015, the whole province had a total of 28 IPs, 8 industrial compounds.
