Phu Giao District holds talk about adolescent reproductive health care

On August 19, Women's Union of Phu Giao District in collaboration with Phu Giao District Youth Union held a talk on adolescent reproductive health care. Attending the talk were nearly 100 officials of Youth Union and juvenile women in the district.

At the talk, participants exchanged and expressed their understanding and knowledge about adolescent reproductive health with Master - Doctor Lam Hong Trang of Tu Du Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City). Some topics discussed at the talk were: Knowledge of adolescent reproductive health care; to distinguish love, friendship and safe sex; consequences of early love and premarital sex; pregnancy, contraceptive methods, consequences of abortion and the impact of abortion on adolescent reproductive health.

The talk aims to equip and improve knowledge and understanding about friendship, love, safe sex and reproductive health care for adolescent girls. From there, helping adolescent girls take care of their own health and protect themselves from abuse, orienting the right awareness about love, friendship, and sex, helping adolescent girls to behave appropriately, be responsible for themselves and the community.
