According to Phu Giao Electricity, by the end of 2015, electricity was brought to 11 communities and towns in the district. By Nov 2015, Phu Giao Electricity installed 24,537 galvanometers, increasing 3.9% year-on-year; 22,335 households accessed the national grid, accounting for 99.94%.
Besides, Phu Giao Electricity implemented several measures to encourage people to use sparingly, efficiently electricity, thereby, creating positive changes among people. As a result, targets on electricity saving were achieved. From the beginning of the year to Nov 2015, commercial electricity production throughout the district reached 122.809 million kWh, increasing 11.39% year-on-year; electricity supplied to industrial production rose 9.28%, accounted for 51.13%.
Phu Giao Electricity also launched a program of cultural quarters – hamlets saving electricity in 2015. Thereby, during 11 months, 3.7 million kWh of electricity were saved, reaching 135.53% annual target. Power loss on the electricity distribution network by the end of November was 5.59%, decreasing 1% year-on-year.
