Morning Dec 9, Phu Giao district Women's Union (WU) held a meeting to summarize works and movements in 2015, disseminate tasks in 2016.
In recent years, Phu Giao district WU and affiliates implemented well emulation movements and 6 central tasks; continued to promote the studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh through models, such as: piggy banks, kitchen of ten points, giving strength to poor women; implemented new rural construction in association with 8 criteria of the campaign "Building families of 5 no 3 clean"; charitable, gratitude activities were organized well through visits, giving gifts to policy families, poor women, giving notebooks to poor students. Especially, to realize the movement of women helping each other in doing home-based business, Phu Giao district WU opened 28 training classes for 644 women, introduced jobs to 458 women, more than 2,300 women helped 696 poor women with total value of over VND1.8 billion...
In 2016, Phu Giao district WU will continue to perform 6 central tasks, strive for 100% of poor households of female members to receive support, over 30% female laborers to receive vocational training, over 70% female laborers to have jobs after training.
On this occasion, the organizers awarded medals of For the development of women to 50 individuals, merit certificates of provincial WU to 24 collectives and 33 individuals making outstanding achievements in women movements in 2015, merit certificates of Phu Giao district People’s Committee to 10 collectives and 22 individuals.
