Excellent youths in production and business are honored.
On Oct. 14, Phu Giao district Youth Union held the grand meeting to celebrate the 58th anniversary of Vietnam Youth Union’s traditional day (Oct. 15, 1956-2014) and to honor good youths in production and business of the year of 2014.
At the ceremony, deputies tracked back the glorious tradition of Vietnam Youth Union since its establishment and development. Over the past 58 years, Vietnam Youth Union becomes a wide social organization of youths, gathering all young people inside and outside of the country for the sake of the national independence and socialism ideal and for the goal of a wealthy and strong country, democratic, equal and civilized society and for happiness and advance of youths.
In Phu Giao district, in the first half of this year, all level youth union effectively implemented 3 mobilizations and 2 programs as well as cooperated with other units to grant 2 charity houses worth VND60mil for poor youths, held the project of IT universalization for 25 youths and unionists, coordinated with job centers to place jobs for 30 local unionists and youths and more.
At the ceremony, deputies exchanged with 3 typical youths of the movement of good youths in production and business. The organizing board recommended 41 good youths in production and business in 2014, 10 of whom were awarded merit certificates by Phu Giao district Youth Union.
