Phu Giao district’s Labor Union has just handed over a “Trade Union” shelter for a trade unionist in need of housing in Phu Giao district’s Tam Lap commune.
Accordingly, the house was given for the family of Luong Thi Xuan, born in 1974, a trade unionist of Hung Hai Thinh Joint Stock Company’s trade union local in Tam Lap Industrial Compound. The house has an area of 100m2, with total construction cost of VND 250 million, including VND 100 million from Thanh Le Trading - Import-Export Corporation and the remainder from her family.
At the house-giving ceremony, leaders of provincial Labor Union, the locality and Hung Hai Thinh Joint Stock Company to give additional valuable gifts for members of the family, helping them stabilize their life.
*With the aim of bringing trade unionists and workers a happier and warmer Tet, Phu Giao district’s Labor Union has also organized the 2024 Trade Union Tet Market.
At the market, trade unionists and workers of agencies, units and businesses in the district had the opportunity to buy household products at preferential prices at booths from welfare units; participated in the lucky draw program to win valuable gifts from companies and businesses. The Organization Board also awarded many gifts worth 1 VND million in cash to trade unionists and workers with difficult circumstances; donated 30 gifts worth VND 500,000 each to needy teachers who borrowed money from the Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor; presented a gift with VND 6 million in cash to a worker with extremely difficult circumstance and a gift with VND 10 million in cash to a worker hit by occupational accident. The total cost for the 2024 Trade Union Tet Market was VND 93 million.

At the program, the Organization Board offered 259 gifts worth VND 1 million each to workers living far from home with difficult circumstances while giving 3 train and plane tickets for needy workers to return home for Tet.
