In a bid to assess the results achieved in socio-economic development and draw lessons learned while identifying existing shortcomings during the 2020-2024 period, on the morning of September 12, Phu Giao district’s People's Committee held a workshop on the local socio-economic development for the 2020-2024 period, with a vision towards 2030.
The workshop was attended by Nguyen Chi Trung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Commission, along with representatives from provincial departments, sectors and speakers from universities, industries’associations.
At the workshop, leaders of provincial departments, experts, businesses and investors delivered some speeches, including Results of the National Target Program for New Rural Development and solutions for maintaining new rural standards in Binh Duong province; Urban and rural planning orientations in Phu Giao district; Current situation and solutions for tourism development in Phu Giao district; Current situation and solutions for solid waste collection, transportation and management in Phu Giao district for the 2025-2030 period; Current situation and solutions for improving environmental management in animal husbandry in Phu Giao district by 2030.
The contents of these speeches serve as a foundation for Phu Giao district to study and consider applying in the next phase, with the aim of better supporting leadership, direction and implementation of the district’s socio-economic development tasks with a vision toward 2030.
