
The provincial Health Department’s leader (center) grants merit certificates to excellent individuals.
On Feb. 26, Phu Giao district medical sector celebrated the 60th anniversary of Vietnamese Physician’s Day (Feb. 27, 1955-2015).
At the anniversary, delegates tracked back tradition of Vietnamese medical sector through various stages. Implementing teaching of President Ho Chi Minh, cadres and medical staff have over the last years made greater efforts to improve knowledge and meet requirements in the new situation.
Until now, the entire district has 8 out of 11 national standard medical stations in line with the new criteria of 2011-2020; 100% of communal and township medical stations have doctors. Quality of health check-up and treatment is improved significantly. Capacity of using beds at hospitals has reached and surpassed the set plan. The work on food safety and hygiene is ensured.
On this occasion, the district leaders granted merit certificates of the Government Prime Minister to doctor Nguyen Van Hoa, vice director of the district medical center, offered insignia to 1 typical individuals and certificates to excellent individuals and collectives.
