On the afternoon of March 4, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, along with provincial delegation, held a meeting with Phu Giao district’s Party Committee to review the local implementation of key tasks in the first two months of 2025.
At the meeting, Nguyen Khoa Hai, Secretary of Phu Giao district’s Party Committee reported on the district’s economic, social situation and national defense- security during the first two months of 2025. He outlined key measures to mobilize resources, address businesses’ challenges, assess land valuation, resolve site clearance-compensation issues for projects and accelerate public investment disbursement. Additionally, he discussed the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and provincial Party Committee’s Plan No. 198 regarding the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the district. The meeting also mentioned the reorganization of the district’s administrative structure and key tasks for the coming period.
Phu Giao district also requested the province to give support in attracting investment projects for industrial park and compound infrastructure development as planned, aiming at commencing construction of VSIP 4 in Tam Lap commune by the third quarter of 2025. The district also called for continued efforts to attract investment projects in production and business activities to contribute to the province’s goal of achieving double-digit economic growth. Additionally, the district proposed the province to allocate funding for the timely implementation of key projects in 2025.
Through the report of Phu Giao district and discussions among delegates at the meeting, provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Loi acknowledged the efforts of the local authorities in implementing tasks in the first months of the year. However, some targets still remain low compared to the overall progress of the province. He urged leaders of Phu Giao district to continue overseeing and ensuring balanced State budget revenues and expenditures, accelerating public investment disbursement and advancing key projects. Special attention was directed toward land clearance and compensation, particularly for the Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chon Thanh Expressway project.
In addition, provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Loi urged leaders of Phu Giao district to focus on resolving difficulties for businesses and production households, creating favorable conditions for all economic sectors to mobilize capital and invest in the market. The district should actively support enterprises in boosting investment, production, exports and consumption. He also emphasized the need to accelerate administrative reform and digital transformation in association with the Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
